A small front end consumes a remote joke API and separates light and dark humour streams so users choose tone before content loads. Error handling and basic filtering accommodate uneven payload quality.

The layout prioritises immediate reading with minimal navigation. Performance work addressed latency from the upstream service.

Built as a DeGods challenge entry; scope was deliberately constrained to integration discipline and presentation.
